Job Description
|
| Essential responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to the following:
Engineering calculations, studies, detailed design, report writing
Interacts with other engineers, and directs designers and drafters to ensure project completion
Responsible for the technical content and quality of the work, and adherence to schedules for the assigned task or project
Selects and applies engineering principles and concepts in field of specialization.
Responsible for reporting on work progress
Performs most tasks with varying levels of supervision
May interact with clients as directed
Responsible for following corporate safety protocols
Conceptual, FEED, Detailed Design and Installation phase engineering. Ability to work within Project Team(s) to design subsea pipelines.
Wall thickness determination, span analysis, stability analysis, cathodic protection, route selection, lateral, upheaval buckling and collapse analysis and installation analysis.
Capable of directing a team of engineers.
Can be a Project Manager and works with the Client to plan overall approach to work.
Highly technical with an extensive knowledge in Subsea Controls.
Technical Requirements:
Subsea controls aspects of Concept, FEED and detail design
Perform and manage subsea controls studies
Report / Specification / SOW and Technical note writing
Detail design of subsea control system architecture
Specifying subsea control system
Experience:
Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering or related field + 10 years relevant experience.
Special Qualifications (Training, Technical skills,Cadworx,etc.) |
