Job Description
|
- Lead the planning of the on time delivery and commissioning of subsea equipment for newbulds, upgrades, and rigs during regular survey.
- Work with shipyard site team and Houston Tech Services Project Team on issue resolutions for subsea equipment.
- Work with subsea coordinators and QA/QC engineers to track the status of subsea equipment for new build and upgrade rigs.
- Lead the effort on creating engineering specifications for key subsea equipmenrt
- Investigate and address various engineering issues on existing drilling related equipment
- Develop and participate on plans to reduce subse downtime
- Prepare Subse department budget.
- Develop program to indentify critical spares for company fleet.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree Engineering from an accredited university.
- 5+ years of experience with subsea drilling equipment.
- Previous experience in management desired.
- Strong computer skills utilizing MS Office software, including PowerPoint and Microsoft Project.
- Up to 30% travel, both international and domestic.
- Must be able to work legally in the US without company sponsorship.
