Job Description

Swift is hiring for a QA/QC Coordinator for a client in Houston, Texas, This position will start here in Houston and may transition over to Aberdeen at a later date.

The person selected for this position will work on a 9/80 scheduler in clients downtown Houston location.

Job Description:Responsible for coordination of Project QC representatives during procurement, manufacturing and testing at Subsea Equipment Vendor and SEV sub vendor facilities (trees, controls, jumpers). Acts as primary contact for SEV QA/QC communications and supports equipment acceptance activities dealing with SEV scope. Manages multiple Company inspectors and performs inspection activities as needed. Provides input, review, and evaluation of Subsea Equipment Contractor QA process plans and documentation. Responsible for reporting Subsea Equipment Vendor quality activities and performance on a weekly (minimum) basis to Project Quality Manager and SEV Management Team.

Education: University degree in engineering or technical equivalent with a minimum of eight (8) years QA/QC experience or a high school diploma with a minimum of ten (10) years experience in Subsea Equipment QA/QC.

Preferred Skills: Subsea Equipment Manufacturing QA/QC

Certifications:Certification in applicable industry and international standards such as AWS, ASNT, API

Experience: Minimim of three (3) years experience directly related to field supervision of Subsea Equipment activities in the contract's scope of work e.g. oil, gas and/or petrochemical projects * Able to read, interpret and communicate (both written and verbally) in English. 8+ years experience in Quality Management aspects of subsea equipment manufacturing and testing including quality plan and inspection test plan development, non-conformance reporting and review, Sub-supplier oversight. Knowledgeable in manufacturing and testing associated with subsea equipment including subsea tree systems, jumpers, and controls. Must be able to effectively interpret and communicate technical issues to Project Team and Vendor QA/Technical groups.
