Partnering with our client, we are currently searching for a Senior Subsea Pipelines QA/QC Engineer.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Support Package Leads in the planning of the quality function and coordination of the Quality input into Specifications and contracts.
  • Monitor classification /verification society(ies) activities regarding design review, fabrication, commissioning and Installation, interface, advise and report as required within the project teams.
  • Assure projects compliance with local and international regulatory requirements.
  • Support Package Leads in the CV evaluation process and be responsible for the interface between the Project Team and the Inspection Services Contractors.
  • Mobilise and demobilize inspectors as per the Work Programme and Package Lead requirements.
  • Monitor the time writing process circulate reports within the Project Organisation and be responsible for the interface between the Project Team and the Inspection Services Contractors.
  • Focal point for HSE Management of the assigned inspection contractor(s).
  • Monitor Inspectors.
  • Process Inspection Contracts Administrator.

Management Process:

  • Ensuring that the Inspection Services Contractor is provided with current project specifications, documents and drawings for all inspection activities.
  • Participating in and coordinating reviews of contractors QC Procedures, Welding documentation (WPS, PQR Welder Qualification Records etc.), ITP's.
  • Participating in and coordination of the contract closeout process i.e. review of contractors document deliverables and release for shipment process.
  • Manage review process for key quality and test processes.

Product Realisation Process:

  • Participate in the review and approval of Contractor Quality Plan(s) and Inspection and Test Plans (ITP's)
  • Monitoring and coordination of the ITP designated intervention points.
  • Management, review and coordination of the inspection reporting process, in particular the quality of the reports.
  • Management, coordination and control of inspectors site activities.
  • Timely and appropriate generation, collection, dissemination and disposition of project information either from or to the site inspectors.
  • Participate in the development of inspection communication planning processes and the coordination of the communication processes.
  • Participating in sub-supplier evaluations.
  • Develop Subproject Quality Plan, when required.
  • Promote Quality awareness throughout the Subproject and the Inspection Services Contract(s).
  • Participate in review of any proposed sub-contractors or suppliers not on approved bidders list.
  • Ensure contractor is performing quality reporting per the contract.
  • Participate in the selection of Supplier Quality Leads and Sites Inspectors.
  • Review and, when necessary, assist in development of the Quality portion of site close-out reports.
  • Participate in and play an active role in Project HSE activities.

Measurement, Analysis and Improvement Processes:

  • Timely and appropriate generation, collection, dissemination and disposition of the site inspectors non-compliances.
  • Management and control of the inspection teams product NCR process including the measurement and analysis process.
  • Interface with the Project Flawless Delivery Process on issues relating to product flaws.
  • Monitor, investigate, identify and raises subproject quality issues to the Project Team.
  • Evaluate Quality Metrics from Site, (PQC) and Engineering team and provide reports to responsible line management, PQM and Function, as required.
  • Ensure previous lessons learned are reviewed and that new lessons learned are identified.

Essentials:

  • Please upload a copy of all required certifications and training.
  • 20+ years working experience in the oil and gas industry with recent experience in a subsea hardware quality management role.
  • 20+ years experience in the QA/QC discipline as Inspector, Auditor, QA Lead and Quality Manager in offshore projects including subsea equipment manufacturing and testing.
  • Experience in the development and maintenance of QMS based on ISO 9001:2008, including written procedures for all identified processes utilised by major project execution teams.
  • Experience in execution of Quality Management Systems for deepwater projects.
  • Experience with design verification practices and schemes.
  • Welding and manufacturing inspection experience for subsea equipment and deepwater project specialties.
  • Demonstrated successful experience in working with in diverse cultural environments.
  • Familiar with certification tools, mechanical completion verification check-sheets, data dossiers and handover processes including certification books.
